A studio entry with no separation between the front door and the sleeping space. Rather than close it off, we defined it.

This white oak slat screen runs floor to ceiling, anchored into the wall and ceiling framing so it sits flush and permanent. The slat spacing was set to break sightlines from the doorway while letting the room's natural light pass through unimpeded. Top and bottom rails frame the run and keep the lines crisp where the piece meets the floor and ceiling.

Milled, finished, and installed in-house — a small footprint that changes how the entire room is used.

White oak, hand-stained, clear topcoat. Wall- and ceiling-mounted.
